Project Engineer - Airblast Eurospray - Peterborough, United Kingdom


Job Description

We are the market leader in the design, supply and installation of Surface Preparation (Abrasive Blast Cleaning) and Finishing (Painting)Machinery and Facilities) and we are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our Project Team.

The role:

Reporting into the Project Director you will be responsible for the project delivery from conception to successful implementation. You will be comfortable working on a wide range of projects from simple small plant jobs to multi million pound installations and have previous experience in working with machinery design and/or installation.

Responsible for:


  • Working alongside the acquisition team, develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with external clients as required.
  • Create and agree project specifications including product design, specifications and customer requirement gathering, ensuring customer needs are understood and met.
  • Manage project schedule, assigning personnel to phases, calculating time requirements and scheduling tasks.
  • Monitor progress against project schedule, mitigating risks and contingency planning, ensuring project delivered to time and within budget.
  • Effectively communicate project plan and progress with project team and external clients.
  • The role is based in the office in Langtoft, Peterborough but some travel will be necessary with occasional overnight stays. Full clean driving licence essential.
  • Salary will be dependent on experience.

Desired Skills & Experience


  • If you’re a self-motivated individual with a strong mechanical aptitude, drive and creativity, excellent project management skills, proven experience of managing multiple projects, reporting and analysis then this will be an exciting and challenging opportunity. You will need to be able to juggle multiple projects working alongside different teams and a diverse range of products.
  • Interested candidates must be educated to degree level or equivalent or have at least 5 years relevant experience and be fully conversant with CAD. Experience of MS projects and Revit software, CDM and BIM would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience in the detailed design of sheet steel fabrications will be an advantage.

Service Engineer - Airblast Eurospray - Peterborough, United Kingdom


Following training, the Service Engineer will be required to visit their customers to carry out planned and breakdown maintenance of equipment.

An excellent package and benefits are available inclusive of a company van. Salary negotiable circa £26k (dependent on experience).


Desired Skills & Experience


Essential:


  • Experience (preferably time-served) in an engineering discipline.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexible attitude to work and willingness to apply knowledge and experience to achieve firm’s objectives.

Desirable:


  • Experience in planning routine maintenance
